JOHN PEÑA created these two word balloons to be in conversation with one another. Their placement in space reflects the quality of their relating at any given moment.
John Peña is a multidisciplinary artist who makes art as a way of exploring the natural world and his daily interactions. A few of John's projects include: racing with clouds, sending a letter to the Pacific Ocean every day for twelve years, and creating a pirate radio station that played extinct bird sounds. For the last seven years, he has been making a drawing every day in which is records a memorable moment from his life. Recently he’s been making life- size word balloons out of plaster that are precariously balanced on two-by-fours.
