ALEXI MORRISSEY's ceramic dairy bottles explore the idea of a past where individuals sold into slavery were found on milk bottles in Africa. This is the first edition in a series for Morrissey, which can now be found at the Warhol Museum Store.
Morrisey’s work focuses on social injustices, people's histories, and power dynamics between pre-literate and modern cultures the through the medium of sculpture. He has exhibited nationally and internationally. Primarily a collaborator, he has worked with individuals, collectives, institutions, and governments leading him to investigate technology, public space, and the function of language.
